Electrical Safety Training Across Western Canada

AB Electrical Safety provides practical, instructor-led electrical-safety training for mining, utilities, manufacturing and heavy industry across Western Canada.

Based in British Columbia, we support organizations throughout BC, Yukon, Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba, with live virtual training available across Canada.

Live QEW Training—Online and Onsite

Qualified Electrical Worker training is delivered live, with time for questions and discussion. Sessions address CSA Z462 and NFPA 70E principles, shock and arc-flash hazards, electrically safe work conditions, PPE, absence-of-voltage testing, job safety planning and safe-work practices.

Choose onsite training for facility-specific delivery or live virtual training for teams working at one location or spread across several sites.

AB Electrical Safety develops, reviews and audits lockout/tagout programs and provides practical training for workers and supervisors. Support can address individual and group lockout, verification of isolation, shift and personnel changes, electrical safe-work practices and job safety planning.

The focus is the way energy isolation is actually managed in the field—not simply whether a written procedure exists.

Arc-Flash, Shock Safety and Engineering Support

Electrical-safety requirements can extend beyond training into system analysis and documentation. Through independent engineering partners, AB Electrical Safety can coordinate support for arc-flash studies, electrical system analysis, audits, single-line diagrams and as-built drawings.
